Small subwoofers are all the rage. With the ATW16, AXTON has a universally applicable subwoofer chassis in its range that can be installed in a bass reflex subwoofer cabinet or used as a woofer in a 3-way system. The rigid glass fiber/foam/paper sandwich cone, in combination with the powerful 120 mm magnet drive, offers a powerful and powerful bass reproduction. The rear-ventilated sheet steel basket and the pole piece hole increase the cooling capacity for the 1.5" voice coil, resulting in a continuous power handling capacity of 75 W RMS. With the 2 x 2 Ohm voice coil, various useful connection variants are also possible. Other features include the use of durable Connex centering spiders, rubber surrounds and corrosion-resistant, gold-plated solder/plug-in contact terminals.
