The bass/midrange drivers use a specially shaped basket that provides the necessary stability and contributes to optimum voice coil ventilation through the rear openings. Added to this is the proven AXTON PP cone with its excellent damping and a massive ferrite magnet that increases efficiency. The progressive suspension with Nomex spider and hard-wearing rubber surround is a lightweight, durable surround that ensures high linearity and accuracy.

The new 16.5 cm 2-way sound system is designed as a point sound source. The 13 mm tweeter with ferrofluid-cooled neodymium drive is positioned on the same plane as the woofer cone, enabling the respective frequency components to be emitted in phase. Phase shifts in the transition area of the frequency components, which occur with conventional protruding tweeters, are therefore a thing of the past. The result is transparent, clear music reproduction with high dynamics.
