Bandpass subwoofer
The housing of a bandpass subwoofer is divided into two chambers by the subwoofer. The rear sound is directed into the closed chamber, while the front sound is directed outwards through a port. This enables targeted reproduction of a specific frequency band, resulting in a more precise, cleaner bass.
