With the ATB20A (retail price 249 euros), the third generation of the popular AXTON active subwoofers with passive cone now gets the most comprehensive update ever: with a new, even more efficient amplifier module, with a new woofer that plays even deeper and more powerful than before, with a new surface that is particularly robust and durable.

Compact, powerful and with a modern design - the ATB20A is developed for music lovers who do not want to do without loading space or bass when on the road. With dimensions of 315 x 275 x 330 mm, the bass box can be flexibly positioned in larger vehicles such as motorhomes or trucks, but also space-saving in the trunk of small vehicles.

The surface of the bass box is coated with a high-strength, hard-wearing textured lacquer, as is also used in professional sound reinforcement technology. This protects against accidental damage, which can happen quickly in the trunk, and makes it easier to care for the bass box.

The newly developed 20 cm woofer and the new passive diaphragm have a one-piece diaphragm construction with special geometry for precise bass reproduction - even at high excursions. Combined with the lightweight diaphragm material and the powerful drive, this results in very high efficiency.

The integrated amplifier delivers 100 watts RMS and provides crisp, punchy bass. The amp module sits protected on the back of the cabinet, yet settings can be conveniently adjusted at any time.

The compact active bass speaker has all the necessary adjustment options on board, including the integrated electronic 12 dB/oct. low-pass filter, adjustable between 50 - 150 Hz, as well as a variable phase shift (0 - 180°) and input gain, and a bass boost (0 - 12 dB).

AXTON's enclosure subwoofer has RCA inputs and high-level inputs with auto turn-on function: this makes the universal ATB20A well equipped for easy direct connection to factory radios, multimedia and navigation systems without remote output. A bass level remote control is included.
